Hello Friends,
Welcome to a special October edition of the Neighborhood
Advisor! We’ve got all your regular monthly treats, like the Mega Trivia
Contest, Client of the Month Award, and several great articles for you to
enjoy. And don’t forget about the rewards you can earn through our Referral
Program!
While October is a great month for tricks, treats, and
haunted events, one thing that shouldn’t be spooking you is your flooring.
Whether you’re hearing ghostly creaks or your carpet is just so old it’s scary,
we can help. The average lifespan for carpet in most homes is 2-5 years for
low-grade carpet, or 5-15 years for good quality carpeting. Of course, that
depends on a lot of factors: quality of the carpeting itself, the subflooring
and carpet padding, the quality of installation, and the number of people and
pets in the home.
Vinyl, linoleum, and hardwood floors tend to last longer, on
the order of decades. However, as interior design trends change, many people
are ready for a new look by the 10-15 year mark. What matters most is finding
the right flooring for your needs – and that’s exactly what we’re here to help
you with. In fact, we’re so good at it, it’s scary!
Thanks again for checking out this issue of the Neighborhood
Advisor. We hope you have a wonderful month, and a Happy Halloween.
Your friend,
Matthew Capell
