Within each of our homes
there is a lot of necessary stuff, but without some sense of order and
organization, we could all look like aimless accumulators. While living
among our belongings, we need peace of mind and that’s why getting
organized is important.
Here are a few of many
not-so-common items that make a difference in calming clutter turbulence.
A magazine holder from
the office shelf is handy for storing kitchen items like cutting boards,
canned goods, and food wrap boxes, like cling wrap and aluminum foil.
A curtain tension rod mounted
under the kitchen sink can be used to hang spray bottles. Put them
horizontally between a shelf and cupboard floor to keep baking pans
upright. Or mount in the back of the shower to hang things like loofas,
washcloths, and other items.
Speaking of showers,
those curtain hooks are
an excellent way to store long scarves, belts, purses, hair ties, and other
items. Simply slip the article onto the hook and then clip it onto a
clothes hanger or rod.
There are volumes of smart ideas on
the Internet. Google “storage ideas” or “home organizing tips” and you will
come up with so many more tips. Of course, the plan is to implement those
discoveries and sometimes that is the hardest part.
