Positive Thinking - Capell Flooring and Interiors

Did you know that physical ailments often directly correlate with our thoughts? Conditions like depression and stress can create physical depression and that physical depression spirals into negative thinking.

When we imagine, or believe things will turn out badly, our subconscious mind goes looking for proof to back up our beliefs. The unconscious mind is much more powerful in shaping our habitual behavior than many understand - oftentimes beyond our conscious control. That's why engaging in positive thinking is crucial.

As with negative thinking, positive thinking can impact our physical health. Whether negative or positive (We get to choose the direction.), how we choose to think impacts the power we give our mind.

You can use the power of your mind to back up negative thoughts, or you can use it to help achieve your fitness goals and find success in those New Year's resolutions. A historic example of was when the four minute barrier to run a mile was broken. Before that day achieving a better time was believed unachievable. Yet, once the belief "barrier" was broken other runners began to break through the barrier.

The effects of aging are also influenced by how we choose to think. As you get older, do you talk to your friends about your "aches and pains" and think about your weakened capabilities? There's truth to the saying, "You're only as old as you think you are."

Choosing to control our thoughts can undo a lot of so-called affects of aging. Unfortunately, a lot of individuals will continue to hold onto their limiting beliefs about an unavoidable ‘decline’ of health in old age, and not know the benefits of a positive mind.

Now that you're aware, you can take advantage of this information, and set your intention to think positive thoughts for a better future.
