There’s more web surfing than ever in the world these days. It’s hard to believe we’ve gone so far down this road that 25 years ago most of us didn’t even know existed!
Here are the latest figures from the
International Telecommunications Union, which has been in business for over 150 years:
“New figures released by ITU today (May 2014)
indicate that, by end 2014, there will be almost 3 billion Internet users,
two-thirds of them coming from the developing world, and that the number of
mobile-broadband subscriptions will reach 2.3 billion globally.”
