Will you install our flooring if we bought it somewhere else?

Will you install our flooring if we bought it somewhere else? Capell Flooring and Interiors

We get asked this question from time to time and we thought we would address it today:  Will you install my new flooring that I bought from somebody else?  It is number 3 on our FAQ page, but I want to dive in a little deeper in our Capell Flooring and Interiors Blog.  Here is the best analogy that we have come up with to address this issue.  If you were to buy a steak from Albertsons here in the Boise area, and then promptly take it over to Sizzler, do you think Sizzler would cook it for you while you sit and eat it in their restaurant? You could say maybe, and this analogy is fun and for amusement purposes only, but I think if we are honest with ourselves the answer to this is a resounding, “NO!”

It is always best to have the store such as Capell Flooring and Interiors in which you bought your carpet, tile, hardwood, etc. install the products as well.  The store and the installers will be able to stand behind their work, and it just makes for a better situation in case there are any issues that spring up.  We have seen this scenario many times when somebody buys a product from one store and has another store install it and suddenly there is an issue.   What ultimately ends up happening if a problem arises, is the manufacturer blames the installer and the installer blames the manufacturer. It is not a good situation and could make for a very bad headache and frustration that you don’t need.  If the same company does both the installation and provides the flooring they can then solve the problem much easier.  It is best to not get in this situation if you can avoid it and save yourself some heartache.

This is not to say that we won’t provide product for our friends out there that are “DIY” or do-it-yourselfers.  We are more than happy to provide you with the tile, hardwood, etc that you need so you can put it in yourself and be successful.  Hopefully this clarifies things a little bit.  Please come visit our showroom and schedule your showroom Design Audit with one of our Design Audit Specialists and see the difference.
